This horrifying picture shows human poo flooding into a Council flat through the sink and destroying the property.
An outraged resident took the snap in an apartment in Dublin City Council's Glovers Court complex. Dublin Live previously reported on major issues with this complex, which included plagues of "rats the size of cats" and sewage entering apartments through the plumbing.
Sewage flooding into apartments in the city centre complex is not uncommon. In an email to DCC's maintenance unit, the resident who took the picture said their kitchen was flooded twice, their belongings were destroyed and the smell was "inhumane" in the latest of a series of incidents.

The complaint read: This "photo of the human faces that came up my kitchen sink, and flooded my kitchen twice. My kitchen and belongings were destroyed.
"The smell was inhumane. I cannot use the water in the flat until you find the reason waste is coming up the sink. I need maintenance to find the cause and finally fix the issue, as I have had many over the years. This time was by far the most disgusting."
The tenants of Glovers Court protested outside of the Mansion House during the ceremony to award the Freedom of Dublin to Kellie Harrington, Ailbhe Smyth and Professor Mary Aiken. One of the distressed tenants called for immediate action.
She said: "We are asking for the freedom from Dublin City Council of Glover's Court. We have a right to do so. We want the freedom of Dublin City Council from Glover's Court.
"Since 2017, we have been having meetings with Dublin City Council about a list of maintenance issues in the complex. It's now 2022. We have had to fight for over five years. There should be a deadline."
A spokeswoman said: "Dublin City Council does not deal with maintenance requests via the media and will not discuss specific cases for privacy reasons." She added that the regeneration of Glovers Court is at stage one and they are going about "engaging a Design Team to work on the design proposal for the regeneration of Glover’s Court".
