Human dissection show Anatomy Lab Live is heading to Liverpool

Anatomy Lab LIVE is returning for 2020 and heading to Liverpool.

The nationally acclaimed dinner and dissection experience attracted headlines around the world and after three sell out tours it’s back with a brand new theme.

Those who attend the event will be transported from a dining room to the U.K. Home Office Contagion Protection Facility (CPF).

Once in the CPF, guests will enjoy their meal in a fully working quarantine and decontamination centre.

In the centre of the room will be a quarantine tank, inside it, a highly infected human specimen.

Following a two-course meal, the secure hatch will open where attendees will begin clinical trials.

This is what it's like to spend the day hunting zombies The Asylum at Newsham Park Hospital

Sam Piri, CEO of ITAE Group that produces Anatomy Lab LIVE , said: "2020 will see guests develop an in-depth understanding of infectious diseases both in the community and the clinical setting.

"I am so excited about this concept as exploring the impact and extent of global pandemics, climate change and an anti-biotic resistant world feels so current and topical at the moment."

Who can attend?

The event delivers in-depth information aimed at those studying anatomy, physiology or pathology at undergraduate level and for those who are already practicing healthcare professionals.

However, the event is also an experience for any person who is interested in the human body, disease or medicine on the whole.

The wider general public are also encouraged to attend.
