Hulu top 10 shows — here's the 3 worth watching right now

Hulu is one of the best streaming services, in no small part due to its excellent library of shows. The Emmys proved that you need Hulu if you're a TV lover, with Hulu shows "Shogun" and "The Bear" taking home the most awards while several others scored nominations.

But with so many great TV shows available, it can be a bit of a struggle to figure out what to watch. Luckily, Hulu has a top 15 shows and movies collection that shows you what’s trending on the platform.

After reviewing this week's popular shows, we've narrowed the list to three standouts from Hulu's current top 10 shows. Two established ABC dramas have shot up the top 10 thanks to season premieres that just hit Hulu this week. There's also one of ABC's new hit shows that has returned to the top 10 after spending most of last fall trending on Hulu.

BEST SHOWS IN THE HULU TOP 10

'The Rookie'

"The Rookie" stars Nathan Fillion as John Nolan, who began the show as a 45-year-old newly-divorced man from Pennsylvania. After helping police officers stop a local bank robbery, he decides to move to Los Angeles to pursue his new calling as a police officer.

At that point, John was the oldest rookie in the LAPD, but several seasons later he's now much more established, with a new role in the force and even a new relationship. The season 7 premiere just debuted this week, so check it out now, and catch up with the rest of the series on Hulu.

'High Potential'

"High Potential" was a surprise hit last fall, but it's returning to ABC now as an established drama. It stars Kaitlin Olson as Morgan, a single mother working as a cleaning lady for the Los Angeles Police Department. Her high IQ ultimately lands her a consulting gig working with LAPD Major Crimes Detective Karadec (Daniel Sunjata) and Captain Selena (Judy Reyes), but not everyone is initially a fan.

After taking some time off in December, the show is back to dominating the Hulu top 10. Episode 8 just dropped this week and has Morgan and the team investigating the mysterious death of a young girl who was found attacked on a beach. Check it out now before episode 9 is released next week.

'Will Trent'

Based on the series of Karin Slaughter novels of the same name, "Will Trent" has been a hit for ABC since debuting back in 2023. This police procedural stars Ramón Rodríguez as the titular Will Trent, a Georgia Bureau of Investigation Special Agent with a complicated relationship with the Atlanta Police Department. His partner Amanda (Sonja Sohn) is the daughter of an APD officer that Trent helped arrest for corruption, and his on-again off-again girlfriend Angie (Erika Christensen) is an APD officer who sometimes is drawn into the same investigations as Trent.

The season 3 premiere just dropped on Hulu this week, explaining the show's arrival in the top 10. Go check it out now, and if you haven't already, watch the previous 2 seasons on Hulu to make sure you're caught up.
