Aaron Connolly could be set for a permanent switch to Hull this summer - if manager Liam Rosenior has his way.
The Tigers boss has revealed that he wants to hold onto the on-loan star beyond the terms of his temporary move from Brighton.
He has yet to speak with Connolly’s parent club about a possible transfer as the Ireland international is currently recovering from a broken toe.

However, his form up to the injury, including two goals in a 3-0 win over QPR in late January, has convinced Rosenior of his qualities.
Connolly was all set for an international recall for this month’s games with Latvia and France before he was sidelined.
Asked if he had spoken to Brighton about Connolly’s future, Rosenior said: “No, not yet, especially as Aaron has been injured.
“Aaron is someone who I am very, very interested in, in the long-term.
“I wouldn’t have brought him to the club… every loan I’ve brought in has been with a view to beyond.
“Even young Malcolm (Ebiowei), I don’t know what his situation will be with Crystal Palace, it certainly won’t be on a permanent, because he’s worth a lot of money.
“But is it right for him to back out on loan to us next year?
“I wanted our loans to be invested in this, to feel like there was an opportunity for them to be here long-term, and Aaron definitely fits into that category.”
