When will it end (with us)?! The drama stemming from the set of It Ends With Us continues to unfold, most recently roping in Hugh Jackman and Taylor Swift in the form of a potential subpoena, according to reports.
Per a source who spoke to the Daily Mail, the two celebrities are apparently preparing “to be served this week” in connection to the neverending legal battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.

If you recall, Lively and Baldoni have been waging a war that dates back to December, when the actress filed a lawsuit against Baldoni for sexual harassment on the set of It Ends With Us, the film co-starring and directed by Baldoni.
Lively also alleged that Baldoni orchestrated a smear campaign against her in anticipation of her claims coming to light, but the director soon returned serve.
In January, Baldoni hit back by suing Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, for $400 million USD ($643 million AUD), claiming the couple defamed him.
What followed was a Hollywood hullabaloo that seemingly won’t quit, dragging in everything from magazine covers to former CIA officials and… donut shops?
Both parties have denied the respective allegations against them, and a trial that feels all-too familiar is set for March of next year.

Now, Wolverine and T-Swizzle have joined the fray.
Swift — who the source said is aware a subpoena “could happen at any time” — was roped into the case by Baldoni, who claimed Lively had weaponised her friendship with the pop star to assert creative control over It Ends With Us.
Baldoni’s complaint referenced how one of Lively’s “famous, and famously close” friends had attended a script rewrite meeting at her home alongside Reynolds.
This meeting, according to Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman, was an attempt to coerce the actor into approving Lively’s rewrites in front of “two of the most influential and wealthy celebrities in the world, who were not afraid to make things very difficult for him”.
As for Jackman’s involvement, well it has to do with his role in Deadpool & Wolverine, of all things.
The film, co-starring and co-written by Reynolds, features a character named Nicepool, who fans perceived as a parody of Baldoni.
“It’s unlikely Hugh wasn’t aware of this,” a source told Daily Mail of Jackman’s knowledge of Nicepool.
Reports of a subpoena for Swift and Jackman remain unconfirmed, and it’s not yet known whether it would even eventuate in a court appearance.
Knowing Swift, however, all of this will likely inspire an album and its eleven hundred variants. Jackman, meanwhile, could take it all the way to Broadway.
