Hugh Jackman has sent Deadpool fans into overdrive with a sneak peek look at filming alongside Ryan Reynolds.
The Hollywood star, 54, has teamed up with the actor and football club owner, 46, for the latest instalment of the Marvel action film and shared a snap of the pair on set. Hugh last took on the role in Logan in 2017 and is now reprising the beloved character as he reunites with pal Ryan, whom he worked with on X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009.
Taking to his Instagram Stories, the Australian actor simply wrote: "Don't blink," as he uploaded an image of the pair suited and booted in their own superhero outfits.
Ryan's red and black attire with swords on the back was on show as the star had his full face covered with the mask. It follows the first-look images last week which saw Ryan don the costume once more in a frantic looking scene.
Hugh on the other hand was seen in his post wearing the classic yellow and blue suit. He showed off his usual Wolverine facial hair as the pair roamed the dusty desert-like surroundings.
The outfit has never before been seen on the big screen, having previously been confined to the comic books. The movie is currently in production and is set for release next year.
Little has been revealed about the actual plot, but it's clear that the storyline sees a crossover in the multiverse with Deadpool joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time after a string of solo movies produced under Fox.
As well as big name stars such as Hugh and Ryan, Jennifer Garner has been confirmed as returning with her Elektra character. It's the first time she will be back in the production after an almost 20-year hiatus.
Ryan first starred in the hit role as Wade Wilson back in 2009. His latest shots appeared to have been filmed from a car crash in the woods, with a stunt double said to have also been spotted on set. They're said to have worn Deadpool's suit "minus the eyes".
It's been suggested that the latest movie in the series is being shot in the UK so Ryan can more easily manage his growing commitments with Wrexham AFC. He first bought the club with actor pal Rob McElhenney in 2021 and the pair oversaw an amazing promotion journey this season.
