Hugh Grant has revealed the names of his two youngest daughters and the “panic” he and his wife had landing on them.

The Bridget Jones actor, 64, has five children - two with former partner Tinglan Hong and three with his Swedish producer wife Anna Eberstein.

His kids with Hong are Tabitha, 13, Felix, 11, and he also shares John, 11, with Eberstein.

But the names of his youngest two - who are now aged eight and six - had previously been a mystery.

He has now revealed that the girls are called Lulu Danger Grant and Blue Grant.

Appearing on US chatshow Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Grant explained that he was in a bit of a "panic" when trying to come up with names for his offspring.

He said: "I have a daughter who I named…I was in a bit of a panic with my wife on the day we named her and we thought it might be nice for her when she was older if she could say in bars that her middle name was Danger. So her name is Lulu Danger Grant."

He revealed Blue’s name when discussing how while he isn’t a fan of Halloween, his children most defintely are.

He said: "My children love it [Halloween]. They love it. Actually, Lulu Danger Grant and her sister Blue Grant, named Blue because again I panicked about names with my wife so we asked [Lulu's] elder brother when she was on the way.

"We said, 'there's a new baby coming along, what should we call her?' And he said, 'Kevin,' because that was his favourite Minion.

"And we did think about calling her Kevin but then we said, 'you better think of something else.' So he said ‘Blue’, because it was his favourite colour."

Grant recently confessed that his parents were not impressed by his decision to become an actor and had hoped he would instead become a man of the cloth.

Appearing on The Graham Norton Show, he explained: “They were not at all supportive.

“My mother was a churchgoer and wanted me to be the Archbishop of Canterbury.

“In their world showbusiness meant nothing.

“I remember when Four Weddings And A Funeral came out, my mother went to a dinner party with like-minded people and when asked about her two sons she said ‘One is an investment banker and the other is a film star’.

“Another guest said, ‘How very interesting, which bank?.’ That’s the world I grew up in.”
