A banner advert for an alcoholic drinks brand 'Voddy' has been erected on the railings of a Glasgow primary school, sparking outrage with locals.
The Glasgow based vodka company's advert was spotted on the main fence at Mount Florida primary school.
A resident who wishes to remain anonymous, told Glasgow Live : "It's on the railings slap bang in the middle of the two entrances to the school. It's where a lot of parents park to pick up and drop off their kids, it's not an appropriate place at all.

"I work in retail and there's already an issue with the likes of elf bars being targeted to young people but this is just too far.
"It's a bright, colourful advert with a snappy name so of course it's going to catch the kids' attention. I'm a former pupil myself and even if the company get a buzz around them for this they really shouldn't, it's not a way to do business."
The resident at first thought it was some kind of parody health warning about alcohol from the Scottish Government but was horrified when to discover what it really was advertising.
The local added: "I'm a former pupil myself and live really close by, it's just really disappointing. I've emailed the school to make them aware but haven't heard back yet.
"If I had social media I would've shamed the business myself because that is just not on. It's absolutely crazy."
A representative for Voddy said: “This banner was aimed at football fans, not children. Under 18s are not our market. We fully intended to take this banner down after the match, but we drank a bit too much Voddy ourselves.
"We are truly very sorry and take full responsibility for this mistake. We will put plans in place to make sure something of a similar nature never happens in the future.”
A spokesperson for Glasgow City Council explained that the company had not asked permission and had placed the banner there yesterday for the football match at Hampden.
It was removed when teachers came into school this morning and the school has emailed the company asking for an explanation, with the company having apologised and said they are looking into how this could have happened.
