Huge vintage football shirt collection coming with thousands of Liverpool FC and Everton FC tops

The world’s biggest vintage football shirt collection is returning to Liverpool.

Classic Football Shirts’ pop-up shop will be in the Metquarter Shopping Centre for two weeks starting on Thursday August 25 and will feature more than 2,500 shirts dating back from the 1980s to the present day. Close to a whopping 1,000 Liverpool and Everton jerseys will be on sale.

The collection, which only features genuine shirts, will also feature hundreds of clubs from around the world as well as national teams. There will also be rails dedicated to blue and red sides of the city leading up to and after the derby on Saturday, September 3 and sections dedicated to travelling Bournemouth and Newcastle fans for the games at Anfield on Saturday, August 27 and Wednesday August 31.

Stock will be replenished throughout the pop-up’s 14-day duration to ensure some of the most sought-after shirts are always available. Prices will range from £15 for recent team jerseys up to £400 for the rarer ones.

Ciaran Gold, head of retail at Classic Football Shirts said: "“It’s been three years since we were here last and we’re really excited to return. Liverpool is one of the greatest footballing cities in the UK and we were blown away by the response we had back in 2019 at the Albert Docks.

“We wanted to come back and our customers wanted us to come back. So what better time is there to return than during the Merseyside derby.”

Although Classic Football Shirts based in Hyde, Manchester, has been online since 2006, football fans can now see the shirts in person. Ciaran continued: "For our customers, our stores and pop-ups are part-shop, part-museum.

"Whoever you support, just being able to see some of the incredible shirts worn in the past 40 years in the flesh is an unrivalled nostalgia trip. While we have been online since 2006, nothing beats physically seeing all these shirts in one place.”

The Classic Football Shirts pop-up will be in Unit 7 of the Metquarter from Thursday August 25 to Wednesday September 7.
