Darwin Nunez became the story of Liverpool's latest pre-season fixture, scoring four goals against RB Leipzig to silence his doubters in emphatic fashion.
But plenty of other members of the Reds' squad were also impressive against their German opponents, with Fabio Carvalho and James Milner among those to put in strong displays at the Red Bull Arena.
Another individual who has earned rave reviews for his performance is the versatile Academy prospect Stefan Bajcetic - capable of playing in defence and midfield - who was introduced on the hour mark and played a vital role in Liverpool's fourth goal of the game.

REACTION: What happened just before first Nunez goal speaks volumes about Liverpool
Winning back possession for the Reds within the final third, the Spaniard's intervention resulted in Harvey Elliott feeding the ball into Nunez to complete his hat-trick. Bajcetic has also made cameo appearances in the club's two previous pre-season contests of theiir 2022 tour and is making the most of his opportunity to impress Klopp.
The 17-year-old signed for Liverpool in February 2021, beating off competition from Manchester United, and originally joined as part of the Under-16s group. Soon after this he made his U18s debut and played the majority of his football at centre-half. Comfortable in possession, he has already been entrusted to play for the U23s at times, as a holding midfielder on occasion for Barry Lewtas.
Speaking back in January, Pep Lijnders name-checked Bajcetic as one of three players he'd like to see with the team on the pre-season tour - a wish that has since been granted. It is clear that the Reds' coaching staff value the teenager highly, and excitement is also growing among the fanbase following Thursday's Leipzig victory.
