Huge T-Rex arrives at dinosaur-themed golf course under construction in Basford

A huge T-Rex has arrived at a new dinosaur-themed golf course which is being built in Nottingham. The prehistoric creature is one of the stars of the new Jurassic Cove Adventure Golf course in Stockhill Lane, Basford, which is currently under construction and is set to open to the public in July.

A total of six dinosaurs will fill the finished course, ranging from the roaring and breathing T-Rex to a much smaller baby Triceratops. The dinosaur figures took six weeks to build in Asia and their journey to Nottingham took another eight weeks by ship.

The 6700 sq m site will host a full 18 holes of dinosaur-themed adventure golf. There will also be a three-metre-high waterfall that flows into a lagoon and a dinosaur skeleton.

Jurassic Cove Adventure Golf will have an onsite café and its own dedicated car park. The site's opening will create three full-time job roles, with further part-time vacancies available during the summer.
