A massive all-in brawl broke out during a rugby league grand final in Adelaide with players and spectators all getting involved as a 12-year-old was allegedly chased and threatened.
Footage of the incident in question is grainy but appears to show people in the foreground exchanging punches.
One person loses their footing and appears to be struck by a player while laying on the ground, and other punches appear to be thrown along with shirt-grabbing.
The man recording the incident was audibly awe-struck by the brawl. "I don't know what to say here," he said. "The crowd's into it... look at them, f**k!"
The incident occurred at the end of the South Australia grand final between Western District Warriors and Eastern Eels last weekend. According to 9 News Adelaide, the match was a tense affair which went well past 80 minutes. The news outlet reported that "a brief scuffle" initially broke out between a couple of players, before it "got out of control and spectators became involved".
At one stage, according to reports, "a 12-year-old boy was chased across the field by a man who was threatening to hit him, he was understandably shaken up by the ordeal".
The incident has been reported by multiple news outlets in Adelaide, with both clubs so far refusing to comment. Police have asked for assault witnesses and victims to come forward.
