Huge queues seen outside all you can eat restaurant in Swansea for Valentine's Day

Who says romance is dead?

People were seen queuing around the block outside an all-you-can eat buffet venue in Swansea on Valentine's Day.

Long lines of people were seen outside Nines Global Buffet on Castle Street.

Diners were waiting for the doors to open at 5pm to get their hands on "an incredible array of freshly prepared dishes from all over the world."

Since 2016, the seemingly popular buffet venue offers food for a set price of £9.99 Mon-Fri for lunch, increasing to £11.99 over the weekend with dinner costing £16.99 Sun to Thursday, increasing to £17.99 over the weekend.

The all-you-can eat style allows customers to refill their plates as many times as they wish.

The venue has a mere 1 Food Hygiene Rating - declared in an inspection on 18 August 2021.

According to Food Standards Agency website, Nines Global Buffet has "recently been inspected - new rating to be published soon" but no confirmation of the rating has been published.
