Huge queues formed outside Liverpool's Cavern Club as fans awaited entry into Sam Ryder's gig.
Eurovision has been well and truly welcomed in Liverpool as events kickstarted earlier this week. The city has been booming with people from near and far as they come to experience the incredible opportunities.
Sam Ryder's performance in last year's competition sent shockwaves through fans with his vocals in Space Man. Coming close to a win, only being knocked from first place by Kalush Orchestra, he has remained a Eurovision icon.

And it is evident so as huge queues formed this afternoon as people patiently wait to see him at the Cavern Club on Wednesday afternoon. ECHO reporters Charlotte Hadfield and Emily Sleight said the queue started on North John Street and led onto Harrington Street.
Eurovision fans David Lever, 58, and Nigel May, 54, have travelled over from Brighton to Liverpool for the week. They’ve managed to get tickets for all the Eurovision dress rehearsals and the Grand Final on Saturday, spending around £1,400 in total
Nigel said: "All of all the Eurovision's I’ve been to, my best welcome has been Liverpool. It’s been amazing."
