Huge queues as people wait to see Sam Ryder at the Cavern Club

Huge queues formed outside Liverpool's Cavern Club as fans awaited entry into Sam Ryder's gig.

Eurovision has been well and truly welcomed in Liverpool as events kickstarted earlier this week. The city has been booming with people from near and far as they come to experience the incredible opportunities.

Eurovision fans David Lever, 58, and Nigel May, 54, have travelled over from Brighton to Liverpool for the week. They’ve managed to get tickets for all the Eurovision dress rehearsals and the Grand Final on Saturday, spending around £1,400 in total

Nigel said: "All of all the Eurovision's I’ve been to, my best welcome has been Liverpool. It’s been amazing."
