Police crews, including a force helicopter, have been deployed to a Midlothian town amid an ongoing incident with around a dozen officers at the scene.
Eyewitnesses have reported that around half a dozen police vans and a number of officers are currently on Rosewell Road near Lasswade Rugby Club.
A police helicopter was also seen circling the area from around 4.30pm but the current nature of the incident is unknown.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.30 pm on Friday, June 16, police attended the Rosewell Road area of Bonnyrigg as part of an ongoing police investigation. Enquiries in the area have concluded and officers have now left the scene.
