A police helicopter has been seen circling a Scottish town, with a number of officers on foot also at the scene amid an ongoing incident .
Witnesses reported six police vans and officers on Rosewell Road near Lasswade Rugby Club, in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian.
A police helicopter was seen in the sky overhead around 4.30pm and was circling the area into the evening.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.30 pm on Friday, June 16, police attended the Rosewell Road area of Bonnyrigg as part of an ongoing police investigation. Enquiries in the area have concluded and officers have now left the scene."
