Families in a Nottinghamshire village are celebrating a 'brilliant' major revamp at a popular farm park. A brand new multi-level indoor adventure play area is among the big changes at Manor Farm Park and Woodlands in East Leake.
The area is for all ages and parents can go on it with their children. Three new huge slides and a fun section with ball cannons are among the new facilities.
Also included in the revamp is a new dedicated role play area and a new soft play area for under fives. There is also a new and improved Laughing Donkey Cafe where visitors can grab a bite to eat.

Mum of two Julia Mann, 43, from Stapleford, was visiting the Manor Farm for the first time with sons Charlie, aged 9, and James, aged 4. Julia said: “It’s our first time, I wasn’t expecting this - this is really good."
The farm and park is also a registered zoo, so as well as normal farm animals there are rhea wallabies, llamas, alpacas and more. There is also an Animal Chat Room, where visitors can see the smaller animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, snakes and parrots. Visitors can even have a chance to hold the animals and see them closer.
Bethan Meese was visiting with her family and her sons were so excited to see the dinosaurs at the World Of Dinosaur Roar, a discovery trail. She said: “He’s made up about it, I did come to see the lambs, they’re very cute.”
The farm has recently welcomed six newborn lambs. And the farm will continue to see new lambs over the half term as the sheep are lambing.
Her husband, 39-year-old Arron Meeson, added: “It is good, we’ve been here loads of times. It keeps getting bigger and bigger. It seems to be something new each time - they’ve put in a good investment.”
Suzanne Goodwin has been the general manager of Manor Farm Park for 10 years. She said: “I think it’s brilliant you’ve got something for all ages from small pre-schoolers to adults. There are loads of animals and lots of different activities.
Other fun activities that the farm offers are the lake and plenty of picnic space. Two outdoor play areas - The Burrows play area and The Fort, as well as the Owls at Hoots Hollows where there are opportunities for owl holding.
Suzanne continued: “It’s popular, we are going to be busy [over the half term], people will come with their families when they’re off school. From a money point of view, it’s good value for money. It’s not much more than paying for a soft play for a couple of hours. We’ve got so much more, all the animals, the indoor play, so much more to do so it’s good value for money.”
Manor Farm Park and Woodlands is open seven days a week from 10am until 5pm. It’s cheaper for families to book online for £10.95 per person aged two and above, whilst at the gate it’s £11.95.
