A huge new Marks & Spencer store has opened at Giltbrook Retail Park.
With its 120-strong team, the store is led by manager Martin Kirkpatrick, who has worked for M&S for 14 years.
He said: "We’re delighted to open our new store in Giltbrook, Nottingham.
"The last few weeks have been spent putting the finishing touches in-store and making sure all our measures are in place to support customers, so they can shop with peace of mind.
"It’s brilliant to now be open and welcome the community – chatting with customers today it’s fantastic to see them get excited about our new summer food products, the latest in clothing and home collections as well as shop for all the essentials.
“I’d like to say a big thank you to the team, who have been amazing getting the store ready. We’re all so excited to be part of the community and can’t wait to get to know locals better in the coming weeks.”
Fresh produce will be sold as well as family ready meals.
Clothing and home accessories will also be stocked - and the store has 2,300 free car parking spaces.
Located in Ikea Way, it will be open Monday to Friday from 9am to 9pm.
Meanwhile, it will open between 9am and 8pm on a Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sunday.
