Huge inflatable theme park opening in Weston-super-Mare

A huge inflatable theme park is set to open near Bristol later this month - bringing with it a number of life-sized dinosaurs.

Wacky Wipeout vs Jurassic Live, which has taken over various venues across the UK since launching in 2017, invites families to take on a challenging assault course that provides fun for all ages.

More than 13 inflatables will form the course, including a game of "extreme Hungry Hippos" and activities inspired by Total Wipeout. Competitors will also be able to get up close and personal with a life-sized T-Rex and other dinosaur replicas.

The event will take place at Hutton Moor Leisure Centre in Weston-super-Mare on the weekend of January 22 and 23, with tickets needed to be purchased in advance.

Slots of one hour and thirty minutes are available from £13.95 per person.

Since 2017 the touring attraction has visited more than 80 cities across Europe with over 900,000 families having taken part, reports Somerset Live.

This makes Wacky Wipeout one of the UK's largest indoor inflatable activity arena events - and people can try it for themselves when it visits Somerset this weekend.

It could make the perfect afternoon out for those who are fans of former BBC show Total Wipeout, or for those simply looking to entertain the kids for a few hours this weekend. There are also adult only sessions for all the big kids out there.

Temperature checks will be carried out on arrival and events will run at 50 percent capacity to make sure the risk of Covid transmission is reduced.

The inflatable theme park has proved to be a hit with countless customers over the years, with one happy visitor writing: "My boys loved it. Staff were friendly and the whole set up professional, safe and clean. Totally brilliant."

Another said: "Great time for both adults and children, staff were fantastic with everyone, and a great Christmas atmosphere. Will definitely be going again."
