The event will take place at the Liverpool Arena on Saturday May 13.

Glasgow was left gutted after it was announced last year that Liverpool would host the popular BBC event on behalf of last year's winner Ukraine.

Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon, actress Hannah Waddingham and Ukrainian singer Julia Sanina have been named as hosts of the Eurovision Song Contest this year.
