Ahead of the event, organisers said: "After the success of last year, P in the Park has come back much bigger and better and taking over the whole weekend of July 8 and 9.
"Our fabulous host site at Unleashed Midlothian enjoys a quiet rural setting with some spectacular countryside views and is so close to Edinburgh. The weekend is geared towards having the best time with your dog(s) where you can enjoy a variety of activities in our come and try area, have a play with similar sized dogs in our breed meets zone or listen to informative talks from our experts.
"Our Main Arena will host some amazing demonstrations and you can even take part in our charity dog show to help raise vital funds for Borders Pet Rescue. After all that activity you can then enjoy some delicious food and drink from our fantastic vendors, visit our Wellbeing area being hosted by the lovely people at Links Vets and then spoil your dogs and favourite humans amongst the variety of retail exhibitors in our markets."
