Drivers are encountering major delays on one of Ayrshire's busiest roads this morning.
What appears to be a single-vehicle crash is blocking two lanes on the A71 northbound.
Huge delays are impacting on traffic with queues stretching out past the on-ramp at Kilmarnock fire station with the crash taking place between Bellfield Interchange and Moorfield roundabout.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called around 7.50am this morning to a report of a road crash on the A71 at Kilmarnock near the Moorfield roundabout and they are still at the scene."
