A huge cruise ship with nearly 30 restaurants and bars on board has docked in Liverpool today.
The Celebrity Apex, of Celebrity Cruises, docked at the city's pier head this morning as part of a 12-day cruise that took passengers up to Iceland. After setting off from Rotterdam, the cruise headed towards Northern Iceland before arriving in Reykjavik last weekend.
After departing Liverpool, she will head to Dover, before finishing the cruise where she started on this coming Sunday.
With space for almost 3,000 passengers over 14 decks and weighing around 130,818 tons, she is a huge ship and this is her third visit to the city, having made her inaugural visit in May last year.

Perhaps the most eye-catching feature of the ship is her 'magic carpet', a huge viewing platform hanging over the side of the ship that can rise or fall to create a 'incredible array of visual perspectives and a distinct experience on every deck it visits'.
The four-star resort at sea also boasts a rooftop garden, large live theatre and multiple restaurants. There's also three swimming pools, five hot tubs and a casino.
Some of the accommodations on board - in The Retreat part of the Celebrity Apex - also come with a butler service, so 'you never have to lift a finger on vacation' as well as a private veranda and concierge service.
The Celebrity Apex will be leaving Liverpool this evening. If you want to read more about cruises with Celebrity, you can find their itineraries here.
