Huge cannabis farm with 200 plants busted by police

A huge cannabis farm with 200 plants was discovered by police.

Officers from Merseyside Police executed a warrant in Birchfield Road in Walton today. Police recovered 200 cannabis plants which were over three floors.

A man was arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis and illegal entry into the UK. Pictures from the scene show the hundreds of plants which appear to have been isolated.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said on Facebook: "Your community officers from Walton Lane have executed a warrant at Birchfield Road, Walton, this morning where we have recovered 200 cannabis plants over three floors and arrested one male for Production of Cannabis and Illegal Entry into the UK. If you have any information regarding cannabis farms you can call us in confidence on 101 or report via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
