A huge blaze has broken out at a block of flats in Paisley.
Firefighters were called to the inferno on Belmont Road at 10.37pm in Gallowhill last night.
Six fire engines and a height vehicle were scrambled to the blaze at its peak.
Shocking images from the scene show the whole roof illuminated by the inferno as aggressive flames rip through the building.
Pictures also show a Scottish Fire and Rescue (SFRS) specialist height vehicle in attendance.

Fire crews continue to tackle the blaze this morning. It is currently unknown if there are any injuries.
One person said: "I really hope they are safe. Five ambulances and another fire crew just rolled in."
A SFRS spokesperson said: "We received a call at 10.37pm on Thursday, March 13 to a building fire on Belmont Road in Paisley.
"Operations control mobilised six appliances to the scene.
"Firefighters remain in attendance."
