A huge fire broke up at a tile shop in Oldham in the early hours. More than 50 firefighters were tackling the blaze at its height.
Crews were called to the commercial building on Barry Street in Oldham at around 2.15am on Saturday (May 7). Videos showed the fire is at The Tile Shop - a tile and bathroom warehouse. The fire was reported on social media - on both Facebook and Twitter.
One resident who lives close to the scene said staff were alerted to the blaze at around 2.45am.
"We didn't expect this," she said.
"The street has been cordoned off but we're all in our homes. The fire looks almost to be out now but the building is destroyed inside."

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue service said in a statement: "Over 50 firefighters are currently responding to a large fire at a commercial building on Barry Street, Oldham. We expect to be here into the morning so please avoid the area while crews are working. Local residents are advised to keep doors and windows closed."
Incident commander, group manager Ian Redfern, said: "In the early hours of the morning we were called to reports of a fire at a commercial building in Oldham.
"Fire crews arrived swiftly at the scene are working hard to prevent the fire spreading to neighbouring buildings. We expect to be dealing with the incident for some time.
"Road closures are currently in place. People are advised to avoid the area and residents should keep doors and windows shut."
By around 6am, fire bosses said they had around 10 engines and three aerial appliances still at the scene.
