Huge Apple Leaks Reveal iPhone 11 Models, Price Cuts, Release Dates And Ugly Camera Design

New leaks reveal Apple plans to slash the price of the 2018 iPhones by at least $200 while keeping the prices of its three new iPhone 11 smartphones in line with last year’s models. (Photo by NOAH BERGER)

As we’re heading into the final home stretch, just a few hours before Apple’s annual fall event in Cupertino, California, today at 10 a.m. PT, a final leak from reputable website SlashLeaks revealed the official pricing and specifications of the three iPhone 11 smartphones that Apple is unveiling today.

The leak comes from a photo (below) taken during a private briefing at a mobile operator in Taiwan which disclosed the pricing, the hardware specifications and the availability of the three iPhone 11 models that Apple will be unveiling at its “By innovation only” event which will be held in a few hours at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple’s new headquarters.

Before we go into more details, the leak first confirms that Apple is keeping the pricing of its new iPhones unchanged, starting at $749 for the iPhone 11, $999 for the iPhone 11 Pro and $1,099 for iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Second, just like it did last year, Apple will first launch its iPhone 11 Pro flagship models, the successors of last year’s iPhone X and XS, which are expected to ship in 10 days, on September 20, and then the entry-level iPhone 11, which is the next iteration of the iPhone XR.

A really ugly “non-Applesque” rear-camera design

The iPhone 11 will ship in three different on-board memory storage options (64GB, 128GB, and 256GB), with the same 6.1-inch LCD display than the iPhone XR but with a dual-rear camera system (both at with a 12 megapixels resolution), an upgrade from last year’s model.

The iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max also will have three on-board memory capacity variants (128GB, 256GB, and 512GB) and the controversial three-rear facing camera design housed in a large ugly square casing—similar to the configurations found on the Huawei Mate 20 or the upcoming Google Pixel 4—which adds a 120-degree ultra-wide lens to the two 12-megapixels cameras (standard wide and zoom).

We also received to our Silicon Valley office, under strict media embargo, the official protective cases for the new iPhone 11 lineup which confirms the designs from previous leaks.

Finally, the SlashLeaks photo also confirms the launch of the Apple Watch series 5 but without much more details than the sizes of the two new models, 40mm and 44mm, respectively. There also, we expect Apple to keep the same pricing and designs for the GPS and cellular variants, starting at $399 and $499, respectively.

Exclusive from our sources in the supply chain, we also learned that Apple will slash the prices of the 2018 iPhone XS, XS Max and XR models by more than $200 , making them really affordable, starting at just $729 for the iPhone XS and $829 for the iPhone XS Max.
