Huge £5m National Lottery prize still not claimed weeks after ticket bought in Birmingham

A National Lottery winner has yet to claim their £5million prize after buying a winning ticket in Birmingham.

It has been almost two weeks since one lucky Brit matched all six numbers in the Lotto draw on September 28.

However, the winner of the massive jackpot has yet to step forward and claim their prize.

Camelot, which runs the National Lottery, is urging everyone check their pockets and down the back of the sofa to find the missing ticket.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery, said: “We’re desperate to find Birmingham’s mystery Lotto jackpot ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings and we’re urging everyone to try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags, down the back of the sofa and anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.

“What with the £7.4M Lotto jackpot prize that is still unclaimed from a ticket bought in Wolverhampton for the Lotto draw on 18 June, Lotto players in the West Midlands are sitting on two massive National Lottery prizes worth a total of nearly £12.5M.

"It’s time to get these life-changing prizes claimed! We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed for both the West Midland’s missing multi-millionaires.”

The winning numbers on September 28 were 3, 15, 20, 48, 57 and 58.

It comes after another lucky Lotto ticket holder bagged an incredible £4million on Saturday.

The winning numbers for Saturday were 6, 32, 12, 26, 46, 8 and the bonus ball was 51.

There was another huge win on September 10.

One lucky player won the £7.1m jackpot, followed closely by a ticket-holder who scooped the £5.2m jackpot in the draw on September 21.

Last month a National Lottery winner scooped £10,000 a month for the next year.

Suzy Fenton's first purchase with her windfall was a £600 cooling system for her home in Wakefield, West Yorkshire as temperatures soared outside.

The 44-year-old also shared her plans to fly to North America to finally visit friends she met online after winning the Set for Life draw.

She also wishes to pay off the mortgage for the three-bed semi-detached home she shares with her partner Ian beloved Westie-Poo Flynn.

Suzy's ticket on The National Lottery App matched the five main numbers in the Set For Life draw on August 1.

She said: “It was obviously a super-practical purchase but something which was desperately needed.

"We were able to find a local store that had one in stock and could deliver. It came straight away, so we were able to stay cool.

"I play Ark Survival Evolved and I play with a few people but I have two really good friends, one in Alberta, Canada and one in Texas.

"The first thing my friend in Canada said when I told her was 'so that means you can come and see me now?'"
