The richest game in football takes place today with the Championship play-off final between Huddersfield and Nottingham Forest.
Wembley welcomes the high-flying duo who were the league’s best teams in the final weeks of the season with a combined 13 wins and just two defeats since March 20.
That tally does not even include their gruelling semi-final victories as Huddersfield saw off a valiant Luton side and Forest were forced to down Sheffield United on penalties.
Steve Cooper’s club most recently graced the Premier League in 1999 while it was 2019 when Huddersfield were last in the top-flight, meaning both will be desperate to claim victory - and the £135million-plus riches that come with it.
