League One

Scottish Premiership
- Celtic 4-0 Ross County (Giakoumakis hat-trick, again)
And you can get all the other results on our live scores page.
Updated
Full time: Hull 1-3 Luton Tom Eaves scored a late consolation for the home side, but it shouldn’t tarnish another excellent afternoon for Luton. They are up to third in the Championship.
Updated
Full time: Huddersfield 0-3 Bournemouth
That’s an emphatic statement victory from Bournemouth, who are now strong favourites to go up automatically with Fulham.
“On that note, what to make of players like Dele Alli?” says Yash Gupta. “Someone who was unplayable. Did his peak come too early? Bit like Rooney although Rooney’s level was still very high after initial hell of a burst.”
I have no idea what has happened there, but it’s really sad to watch. He played pretty well against Liverpool just before Christmas, and I thought that might be the beginning of a renaissance. How wrong was I.
League One Elliott Bennett’s goal has made it Rotherham 0-2 Shrewsbury, a result that approximately 0.00 per cent of us saw coming. But Shrewsbury fully deserve their victory.
Stuttgart 3-2 Augsburg
“Hello Rob,” says Kári Tulinius. “It’s not a featured game, but in the Bundesliga relegation six pointer, Stuttgart came back from 2-1 in the last ten minutes to win 3-2 against Augsburg, rising out of the relegation zone for the first time in gadzoinks, albeit on goal difference. But as a long-suffering Stuttgart fan, I’ll take what I can get.”
GOAL! Reading 1-0 Blackburn (Laurent 78)
A huge goal at the Select Car Leasing Stadium, and yes that really is its name. Josh Laurent has put Reading ahead against goal-shy Blackburn, and if it stays like they will be five points clear of the relegation places.

Those are vital wins for Stuttgart and Hertha Berlin in particular. It’s so tight at the bottom, with one point separating four teams in the fight to avoid relegation.
“The Catalan Adel Taarabt is a stunning talent who has always struggled with the idea that football is a team sport,” says Phil Podolsky of Gerard Deulofeu. “Sadly, mid-size clubs is as good as it gets for this type of player these days, though the streets won’t forget etc.”
I like creative players who only reach that level, the football equivalent of a cult band. You know who I mean. The Longpigs, Jonathan Fire*Eater. Northern Uproar.
Reading 0-0 Blackburn Sam Gallagher has just missed a great chance for Blackburn, whose goals have dried up horribly. Since the turn of the year they’ve scored six goals in 15 league games, and three of those came in one game against Derby last week.
“Hi Rob,” says Matt Dony. “Just digesting a painfully well-deserved Italian win in that other sport. Ouch. Ah well. Glad to hear Solanke is on the scoresheet, and it would be tremendous if Luton could stick around in the play-off places. Seems genuinely amazing they’re where they are. As a neutral, I really hope they can keep going and make it to the Premier League, just to see a different name in the table.”
And a different kit. Imagine if they turned up sporting this beauty. Talking of which, James Bree has just scored a spectacular free-kick to put Luton 3-0 up at Hull.
League One
The leaders Rotherham are still a goal down and a man down at home to Shrewsbury. Stephen Humphrys has just put Wigan 4-1 up at home to Morecambe. As things stand, Wigan are a point behind Rotherham with two games in hand.
The in-form MK Dons lead 1-0 at Cambridge; they are right in the mix for automatic promotion.
The FA Cup quarter-finals get under way this evening with Middlesbrough v Chelsea. Simon Burnton has the team news for that one.
GOAL! Celtic 4-0 Ross County (Giakoumakis 61 pen)
I’m surprised it took so long: the outstanding Georgios Giakoumakis has completed his second hat-trick in as many home games. The first two were headers in the first half; the third was a penalty.

Updated
GOAL! Hull 0-2 Luton (Cornick 56) Luton look set to go third in the table. Harry Cornick has doubled their lead away to Hull, who haven’t scored a goal at home since January.
Reading 0-0 Blackburn It’s been a frustrating afternoon for Blackburn, who are without the prolific Ben Brereton Diaz. Any chance of automatic promotion will probably be gone if they don’t win today.
Championship roundup
Here’s more on the early games in the Championship: Derby 1-1 Coventry and Sheffield United 2-0 Barnsley.
GOAL! Huddersfield 0-3 Bournemouth (Solanke 46)
This is turning into an extremely good day for Bournemouth. A brilliant goal from Dominic Solanke has put them 3-0 up at third-placed Huddersfield.

Updated
Full time: Napoli 2-1 Udinese
It’s all over in Naples, where the home side came from behind to earn a vital victory. The superb Victor Osimhen scored twice in the second half to move Napoli level on points with AC Milan, who play Cagliari tonight, at the top of the table.

It’s half-time in the 3pm games. Celtic are hammering 10-man Ross County, while Bournemouth are 2-0 up at Huddersfield in the Championship’s big game. You can peruse all the half-time scores here.
League One: Wigan 2-0 Morecambe
Wigan, second in League One, are on course for another victory. Josh Magennis and Jason Kerr have put them 2-0 up against Morecambe. It’s a slightly flattering scoreline, but I doubt they’ll care about that.
Napoli 2-1 Udinese There’s been a red card in Naples too. Pablo Mari, on loan to Udinese from Arsenal, has been advised to do one by the referee.
League One: Rotherham 0-1 Shrewsbury A bit of a surprise at the place we are apparently supposed to call the AESSEAL New York Stadium: the leaders Rotherham have gone behind to a goal from Daniel Udoh. And according to Chris Kamara on Soccer Saturday, Shrewsbury fully deserve their lead.
Edit: it gets worse for Rotherham, who have had Angus MacDonald sent off.
Celtic 3-0 Ross County It gets worse for Ross County: Kayne Ramsay had been given a straight red card for a dangerous challenge on Tom Rogic. Lord knows how many Giakoumakis will score today.
GOAL! Huddersfield 0-2 Bournemouth (Lerma 31)
A comedy of errors in the Huddersfield area leads to a second Bournemouth goal, scored by Jefferson Lerma. As things stand they have a six-point cushion in second place, with at least two games in hand on the teams directly below them.

Updated
GOAL! Celtic 3-0 Ross County (Maeda 26)
Game over at Celtic Park, if it was ever on in the first place. Daizen Maeda has made it three for Celtic, who are going six points clear at the top. Rangers play at Dundee tomorrow, and then the two teams meet in a humdinger on 3 April.

Half time: Napoli 0-1 Udinese
If Napoli don’t win Serie A, it’ll be their home form that costs them. They are enduring another difficult afternoon against Udinese, who lead through a classy finish from Gerard Deulofeu.
Could he be any more likeable? (Clue: no)

“Hello Rob,” says Kári Tulinius. “I’ve had a soft spot for Gerard Deulofeu for years, so I like seeing him score. He may lack consistency, but it’s never for lack of trying, and he’s always fun to watch. From the games I’ve seen him play this season, he seems to fit in at Udinese really well. It was a good goal too, dipping into the bottom left corner from just outside the box.”
When he’s good, he’s very, very good… actually, it must be so frustrating to be a creative player who struggles for consistency. With most weaknesses you can work on certain things, but I don’t know how you go about becoming more consistent.
Full time: Aston Villa 0-1 Arsenal
Bukayo Saka’s goal gves Arsenal an excellent victory at Villa Park. It’s their 10th win in the last 13 Premier League games. They’re now four points clear of fifth-placed Manchester United with a game in hand.
