Huddersfield Town fans rage over VAR decision in Nottingham Forest defeat

Huddersfield Town fans have been left fuming at VAR after a decision not to award them a penalty in the Championship play-off final was confirmed.

Harry Toffolo went down in the Nottingham Forest penalty box in the 74th minute at Wembley, but referee Jon Moss went the other way and booked the wing-back for diving.

However, after a lengthy VAR check, the replays showed Jack Colback making contact with the Terriers man inside the box. Despite the contact, the video technology did not reverse the original decision.

It wasn't the only controversial call made by VAR. Moments later, Lewis O'Brien was brought down from behind by Max Lowe inside the box and Moss saw no problem in the challenge.

Following the decisions from VAR, Huddersfield supporters have been sharing their frustrations at the decision...

@Four_FC: Stonewall penalty any and every day of the week!

@tommyshelbybox6: We protest. Ridiculous decision from VAR.

@eddiesphone: Ridiculous. Stonewall peno.

@RyanDowning101: Someone tell me how that's not a penalty... VAR useless as per.

@benrjtodd: How was that NOT a penalty?

@sfletcher06: That was a clear pen...

@TheFrenchPaddy2: Another penalty not given. Not even checked.
