High school team awarded touchdown after player is tackled at 5-yard line

This would be one call the official would love to have reviewed. Only it happened in a high school game.

Ashland was credited with a touchdown in its game against Harrison County, though the player was tackled at the 5-yard line.

Per Dailyindependent.com:

Following a Thorobreds punt, Cam Davis drove the ball deep into the red zone just inside the five-yard line, but the line judge signaled touchdown seemingly by mistake. After the game, Tackett said even he told the official it wasn’t a touchdown.

The ruling of a touchdown stood, however, and the Jake Sexton PAT made it 14-6 in favor of the home team.
