How will the Boston Celtics use reserve point guard Malcolm Brogdon in their rotations for their looming 2022-23 campaign? We have seen hints of what the Celtics might have in mind from what interim head coach Joe Mazzulla has been running during the team’s preseason games so far, with the Virginia product attacking the cup and then spraying it out to shooters like forwards Grant Williams and Sam Hauser and guard Payton Pritchard.
But we have also heard from Mazzulla that we should not put too much stock into what we are seeing during preseason games in terms of rotations, so can we expect to see something like this in the regular season, or have the examples we’ve seen so far just been wrinkles Boston can throw at opposing teams?
The hosts of the Heavy “Celtics Collective” podcast debated this question on a recent episode.
Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what they had to say.
