How West Ham's next four fixtures compare to Leeds, Everton, Nottingham Forest and Leicester

West Ham United have nine games left to secure their Premier League status.

The Premier League season is nearing an end for David Moyes’ side, who have struggled to distance themselves from the relegation battle all campaign.

But, the Hammers boosted their chances of survival on Saturday after securing three vital points with a 1-0 win away at Fulham.

Victory at Craven Cottage built up a three point cushion for the Irons on the current bottom three of Nottingham Forest, Leicester City and Southampton, with Moyes’ side now 14th on 30 points.

Forest are the closest to safety with Steve Cooper’s men sitting 18th on 27 points, whereas Everton narrowly edge ahead of last season’s Championship play-off winners in the table on goal difference.

Crystal Palace increased their gap to the drop zone to six points with a thumping 5-1 win at Elland Road on Sunday against Leeds United, with Javi Gracia’s Whites sitting 16th just two points above the drop.

Bournemouth claimed a 1-0 win against Leicester to climb out of the bottom three and move up to 15th on 30 points, whereas Wolverhampton also picked up three vital points with a 1-0 win against Chelsea at Molineux that lifted them to 13th on 31 points.
