It's been a whirlwind weekend for the people of Great Britain, who saw vast changes across their residing constituencies through 2022's local elections.

And although this weekend's antics are the most recent happening to take place across the UK - there are many other historic events that have already came to light in 2022 thus far. The Partygate scandal and the ongoing cost of living crisis which have recently made headlines will no doubt be remembered by future generations as they look back on the history of the UK.
