The Indianapolis Colts got their guy when they selected quarterback Anthony Richardson with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft Thursday night.
While the Colts know Richardson has a long road to go down in terms of development, the fact that Shane Steichen will be leading that endeavor makes them very both comfortable and excited that he can reach his ceiling.

Fun fact: I was told reliably by multiple sources that Anthony Richardson was very seriously considered by Carolina for the top overall pick. The Colts are hardly the only team captivated by his abilities and potential.
