How Tottenham could line up next season with Richarlison, Djed Spence and Clement Lenglet

Tottenham mean business this summer with Antonio Conte driving a big-money squad overhaul.

Spurs are closing in on their fourth new arrival before July in a remarkable change of tact from recent, and not-so-recent transfer windows, with Richarlison expected to arrive in a deal worth up to £60million.

The Brazilian joins Ivan Perisic, Yves Bissouma and Fraser Forster, while the likes of Clement Lenglet and Djed Spence are also targets which the club hope to sign in the coming days.

But with all the new signings, come plenty of fresh selection headaches for Conte.

We've had a look at how they could all fit in.

With Spurs back in the Champions League next season, along with the introduction of five substitutes being allowed, Conte was desperate to add more depth to his squad.

Richarlison offers just that, being able to play across the forward line but likely to be trading a spot most often with Dejan Kulusevski, who was the best January signing made by any club last season.

Moving into midfield, Yves Bissouma will be rotated with another January signing in Rodrigo Bentancur, Pierre-Emile Hojberg and Oliver Skipp. Harry Winks has been told to find a new club.

Conte’s two wing-back positions, so crucial to his tactical step-up, have already been boosted with the arrival of Perisic, who brings bags of top-level trophy-winning experience, and should be joined by Spence on the opposite flank.

Lenglet, a loan target from Barcelona, can play both on the left-hand side of a back three and in the centre, and would provide further squad depth as he competes with Ben Davies, a standout performance under Conte last season.

Spurs are understood to also be on the market for a further centre-back signing.
