If there's one designer who's maintained her staying power like no other, it's Diane von Furstenberg. The 77-year-old has reigned at the helm of her eponymous label since 1970, famously birthing the iconic wrap dress in 1974. "It's more than a dress, it's a spirit," the designer has said of her creation which has over the decades made its way into the wardrobe of practically every woman. Partially inspired by the wraparound tops worn by ballerinas, the wrap dress is loved for its endless versatility and effortless wear.
The historic piece also just turned 50 years old and to celebration, DVF has partnered with luxury eyewear brand L.G.R. to release a limited-edition pair of sunglasses called the Raffaello. Which come to think of it, will pair perfectly with a summer wrap dress.

The DVF x L.G.R. Raffaello sunglasses ($440) come in three colorways, Havana Green, Havana Pink, and Havana Black and all feature the brand's logo and celebratory hashtag #Wrap50 in gold engraving on the inner temples. Says DVF of the collab, "I have collected sunglasses since I was 13. When Luca Gnecchi Ruscone offered to honor me with a capsule collaboration for the 50th anniversary of my wrap dress I accepted with joy."
