HOME Secretary Yvette Cooper will make a statement on child sexual exploitation to MPs on Monday.
It comes as Twitter/X owner Elon Musk continued his criticism of the Prime Minister over the grooming gangs scandal, claiming Keir Starmer was afraid an inquiry would expose failings from his time as director of public prosecutions.
Here’s all you need to know about the speech.
When is Yvette Cooper’s statement and how can I watch?
The statement is expected to begin around 5.30pm and will be available to view through Parliament TV.

What did Starmer say today?
The Prime Minister has said the online debate about child sexual exploitation was based on lies, with politicians “jumping on the bandwagon”.
It comes after the Tories and Reform UK backed Oldham Council’s calls for a second national inquiry into the historical abuse of children.
Musk had claimed that Safeguarding Minister Jess Phillips “deserved to be in prison” for denying requests for the Home Office to lead a public inquiry into child sexual exploitation in Oldham, Greater Manchester, and called her a “rape genocide apologist”.
The Twitter/X owner also suggested the Prime Minister was “complicit in the crimes” of child sex offenders and called for “prison for Starmer”.
