It is the final tennis Grand Slam of the year and starts today, running until Sunday 8 September at Flushing Meadows.
British hopes Jack Draper and Dan Evans are involved on the men’s side of the draw, while Katie Boulter, Emma Raducanu and Harriet Dart all made the cut in the women’s competition.
There will be no Andy Murray, however, following his retirement from the sport.
