The Chiefs are in the Super Bowl for the third time in four seasons, while the Eagles return for the first time since the 2017 season. Fox’s Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen are on the call in the broadcast booth, calling their first Super Bowl for the network after the departures of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman to ESPN last year.
The Eagles and Chiefs each secured the No. 1 seeds in their conferences. Kansas City earned its bid to the Super Bowl with a thrilling 23-20 victory over the Bengals in the AFC championship game. The Eagles defeated the 49ers, 31-7, in the NFC title game behind a dominant performance from its vaunted defense.
