How to watch the Open Championship 2022 at St Andrews (PA)

The home of golf is set to host the 150th anniversary at St Andrews' Old Course.

162 years and 149 Opens later, the world's greatest players are about to head to Fife for the historic contest for the Claret Jug.

This is the 30th time that St Andrews has held the competition and is set to feature headline players like Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Scottie Scheffler, Justin Thomas and fresh off his US Open win Matt Fitzpatrick.

How to watch the Open Championship

Sky Sports Golf will be covering the Open throughout the tournament.

Its coverage starts at 6:30 am on the opening two days, moving to 8 am over the weekend.

If you are a Sky Sports customer, you can live it stream via the app using your mobile, tablet or computer devices.

If you aren't a Sky customer, you can sign up via the Sky website.

The BBC will also air a podcast series during the Open Championship.

BBC Radio 5 Live will give full coverage of the 150th Open in its series called All About: The Open.

It will be hosted by BBC golf correspondent Iain Carter and commentator Katherine Downes.

When is the 150th Open Championship? 2022 Date and start time

The 150th Open Championship will be held from Thursday, July 14 to Sunday, July 17 2022.

The contest is taking place at the Old Course in St Andrews, Scotland.

Play starts at 6:45 am on the opening two days and then at 8 am over the weekend.
