The start date for Conversation with Friends is almost here. The BBC series is the second Sally Rooney book adaptation and comes following the success of Normal People.
Conversation with Friends follows two young Dublin college students who become involved with an older married couple in the city's literary scene. It has a star-studded cast list including Alison Oliver, Sasha Lane, Joe Alwyn and Jemima Kirke.
While Normal People hit screens first, Conversation with Friends was actually Sally's first novel and was published in 2017. Normal People has so far been streamed over 60 million times and follows the relationship of Marianne and Connell, played by Daisy-Edgar Jones and Paul Mescal.
