All 10 movies in the Best Picture nominations at the Oscars have become must-see films. The Power Of The Dog dominates this year’s Academy Awards with up to 12 nominations. It is one of the 10 films competing for the coveted prize.
The western drama is followed by Kenneth Branagh’s Belfast, Will Smith-led biopic King Richard and Steven Spielberg’s remake of West Side Story.
UK viewers can watch the Oscars live from 1am on Monday morning (March 28) on Sky Showcase or Sky Cinema Oscars. It’s also available to watch live on NOW with a Sky Cinema Pass.

Drive My Car
The Japanese drama follows an ageing, widowed actor who seeks a chauffeur. The actor turns to his go-to mechanic, who ends up recommending a 20-year-old girl. Despite their initial misgivings, a very special relationship develops between the two.

Nightmare Alley
In 1940s New York, Carlisle crafts a golden ticket to success by swindling the elite and wealthy. Hoping for a big score, he soon hatches a scheme to con a dangerous tycoon with help from a mysterious psychologist who might be his most formidable opponent yet. Nightmare Alley is available to watch in cinemas at the moment.
Don’t Look Up
In Don’t Look Up, two low-level astronomers must go on a giant media tour to warn mankind of an approaching comet that will destroy planet Earth. The film is now available to stream on Netflix.
Dune
The 1984 sci-fi remake follows Paul Atreides as he arrives on Arrakis after his father accepts the stewardship of the dangerous planet. However, chaos ensues after a betrayal as forces clash to control melange, a precious resource.

Belfast
A semi-autobiographical film which chronicles the life of a working class family and their young son's childhood during the tumult of the late 1960s in the Northern Ireland capital. Belfast is still at cinemas but you can also watch it on Amazon Prime and Apple TV.
Licorice Pizza
The film follows Alana Kane and Gary Valentine who grow up, run around, and fall in love in California's San Fernando Valley in the 1970s. Licorice Pizza is currently available in cinemas across the UK.
The Power Of The Dog
Benedict Cumberbatch plays a rancher in 1920s Montana, whose life changes in unexpected ways when his brother brings home his new wife and her son. The film is available both at cinemas and Netflix.
West Side Story
Steven Spielberg’s reworking tells the story of the romance between two people loyal to rival gangs in 1950s New York. It is available to watch in cinemas and on Disney Plus.
CODA
Ruby is the only hearing member of a deaf family. At 17, she works mornings before school to help her parents and brother keep their fishing business afloat. But in joining her high school's choir club, Ruby finds herself drawn to both her duet partner and her latent passion for singing. CODA can be streamed via Apple TV Plus.
King Richard
The film follows Richard Williams determined to write his two daughters, Venus and Serena, into history. Training on tennis courts in Compton, California, Richard shapes the girls' unyielding commitment and keen intuition. Together, the Williams family defies seemingly insurmountable odds and the prevailing expectations laid before them. The film is available for rent on Amazon Prime and Sky.
