Qualifying for the British Grand Prix gets underway later today with Lewis Hamilton hoping to make himself known around his home circuit of Silverstone.
A strong Friday practice session suggested Mercedes were not wide of the mark in their hopes of battling Red Bull and Ferrari for pole position.
George Russell will also be hoping to upset the applecart of Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc’s scrap for the F1 title.
The Dutchman in the Red Bull is certainly coming out on top in that fight so far, meaning the onus is on Ferrari to deliver their man a car capable of regaining the momentum.
