Domestic matters have been settled for another season but there is still some top-level action to feast on tonight and throughout June as the Nations League gets underway.

Due to the World Cup taking place in winter for the first time - with the finals to be staged in Qatar - a gap opened up in the footballing calendar and UEFA swooped in to fill it as Manchester United superstars Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes prepare to get down to business when Portugal take on Spain tonight.

That crunch opener in Group A2 will take place at the Estadio Benito Villamarin in Seville (7.45pm). Here is how you can follow every kick from Ronaldo, Fernandes and their teammates;

What is the early Spain vs Portugal team news?

While the Spain team is expected to feature several household names - including United target Pau Torres and the former Manchester City forward Ferran Torres - it will be Portugal who take centre stage for anyone watching who supports either of the two Manchester clubs.

Ruben Dias is missing for this one, but City teammates Joao Cancelo and Bernardo Silva should start. Of course, the two names to keep an eye on from a United perspective are Fernandes and five-time Ballon d'Or winner, Ronaldo, a man who simply can't be ignored.

Ronaldo, 37, will win his 187th cap for Portugal tonight. He has scored a world-record 115 goals for his country.
