Domestic matters have been settled for another season but there is still some top-level action to feast on tonight and throughout June as the Nations League gets underway.
Due to the World Cup taking place in winter for the first time - with the finals to be staged in Qatar - a gap opened up in the footballing calendar and UEFA swooped in to fill it as Manchester United superstars Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes prepare to get down to business when Portugal take on Spain tonight.
