How to watch Scotland vs France: live stream Six Nations 2024 online today, team news

Damian Penaud of France screams in celebration ahead of the Scotland vs France Six Nations 2024 round two clash.

Watch Scotland vs France live stream

The historic Murrayfield plays host to two sides looking for a drastic improvement from this year's Six Nations opening weekend. Yes, Scotland may have just about squeezed out Wales in Cardiff, but the one-point win would have felt like a defeat as seismic as the one suffered by France in Marseille.

There's a little weather in the air today on this crisp February afternoon in Edinburgh, but hopefully not so much that will prevent the action from flowing freely. The French in particular will be hoping to get the ball trough the hands to jumpstart their Six Nations campaign.

Today's Scotland vs France match at the 2024 Six Nations is free to watch on the BBC in the UK and RTÉ in Ireland. Peacock TV and DAZN and are the live streamers in the USA and Canada respectively. Down Under, it's Stan Sport in Australia and Sky Sport in New Zealand. And you can use a VPN to watch your chosen stream from wherever you are in the world.

Scotland vs France live stream: Preview

The 2024 Six Nations for these two teams moves on to Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh. The start time is at 2.15pm GMT (9.15am ET / 6.15am PT) on Saturday 10th February, which is 1.15am AEDT in Australia on Sunday morning.

Going into the break at 20-0 up and then extending that by a further seven points early on in the second-half, the Scots understandably felt home and hosed last Saturday evening. And although they eventually managed to hold of the stirring Welsh comeback to win 27-26, coach Gregor Townsend will be apoplectic with the complacency his men showed.

The availability of co-captain Rory Darge in the back row is a massive boost for the Bravehearts, with former skipper Jamie Ritchie being dropped altogether from the squad. And second-row Grant Gilchrist returns from his suspension. With Blair Kinghorn still not returned and Kyle Steyn dropping out at the 11th hour, 22-year-old Harry Paterson leapfrogs into the team at full-back.

France came into this championship as favourites, but are already fighting to salvage it. Their opener at home to Ireland always felt like it could effectively be the title decider on day one, but the 38-17 trouncing acutely demonstrated Les Bleus' shortcomings – only exacerbated by the absence of talismanic scrum-half Antoine Dupont.

The red card dished out to lock Paul Willemse after half-an-hour in Marseille certainly didn't help matters, and he's replaced at Murrayfield by Cameron Woki. 20-year-old wing Louis Bielle-Biarrey counts a try against Scotland last year among his career tally of five – he's preferred to Yoram Moefana today.
