Rising North Shields starlet Sam Fender marked the performance of a lifetime on Friday by taking to one of the UK's most coveted stages of all time.
Fender took to the prestigious Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival at 8.15pm, performing a star-studded set to tens of thousands in attendance and millions of viewers watching around the world.
The 28-year-old captivated a sea of fans with his eleven song setlist - kicking things off with hit track Will We Talk?

And there wasn't a bored face in sight across the crowd as the North Tyneside talent made his way through his greatest hits, including Howden Aldi Death Queue, Seventeen Going Under, Saturday and Spice, before leaving the crowd bursting their lungs out to Hypersonic Missiles.
Social media went into overdrive with those watching the BBC's live coverage online persistently praising the youngster's talents - with eagle eyed viewers also spotting North East knickknacks such as Brown Ale and the NUFC crest on stage with him.
It was a truly remarkable occasion for Sam and his band, who have never had the privilege of playing Glasto before - even leading the frontman to hold back the tears while reflecting upon the achievement.
