Here's how to watch Rishi Sunak's climate speech and what he will say

RISHI Sunak is due to give a speech on Wednesday afternoon as the Prime Minister sets out changes to the UK Government's net zero commitments.

The speech follows a surprise cabinet meeting between the PM and government ministers.

Sunak is expected to announce the weakening of green policies in a move that has been criticised across the political spectrum.

It has been reported that the PM will announce the dropping of the mandate for landlords to ensure properties meet a minimum energy efficiency standard.
