How to watch Portugal vs North Macedonia - TV channel, live stream details for World Cup playoff final

Portugal are looking to book their spot at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar this evening as they face North Macedonia in their playoff final.

Manchester United stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes will be among those in action as Portugal look to confirm their place at the tournament later in the year. Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva and Joao Cancelo will also feature, while Diogo Dalot will also hope to make an impact.

The 2016 European champions missed out on automatic qualification for the World Cup back in November after finishing second in their group behind Portugal. Having overcome Turkey in their semi-final on Thursday though, they are now just one game away from booking their place at this year’s tournament.

Few could have predicted their opponents for tonight’s game though, with North Macedonia shocking Italy with a last-minute winner to secure their place in the final. They’ll be hoping to cause another upset this evening, and deny Ronaldo a chance to finally add the World Cup to his impressive trophy collection. Here’s everything you need to know if you want to watch this evening’s game.

What TV channel is it on?

Sky Sports have you covered with all the action across Europe this evening. You can catch all the action from Porto live on Sky Sports Action.

Coverage begins at 7.40pm, with the game kicking off just five minutes later at 7.45pm. It is scheduled to end at 9.45pm, although will be extended should the game go to extra time and penalties.

Is there a live stream?

All the usual methods of streaming are available as long as Sky Sports is included in your subscription. You can watch the game online via Sky Go, or through the app on your mobile, tablet or games console.

If you get Sky Sports through Virgin Media, you can stream the game via the Sky Sports website. Viewers without a Sky Sports subscription can also watch the game with a NOW TV pass, which you can buy for a 24-hour period.

What are the other playoff games?

There is one other playoff final taking place this evening, with Poland facing Sweden for a place in Qatar. Wales are also due to face the winners of Scotland vs Ukraine, which hasn’t taken place yet due to Russia’s invasion of the latter.
